March 18th, 2018 marked the grand opening of the DiMario Park Playground in Kenilworth, NJ. Under the careful supervision of Picerno-Giordano Construction the installation of this playground was put into motion. It was built with American manufactured equipment and rubber and is in complete compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The opening was unveiled by the Kenilworth Recreation Center, showcasing shiny new monkey bars, slides, swings, and other kid-friendly equipment. Through the commitment of local businesses, volunteers from various corners of Kenilworth, and a grant from the Union County Kids Recreational Trust, this colorful, state-of-the-art playground shines as a symbol of collective community achievement.

According to Recreation Director Pat Boyle and Councilwoman Kay Ceceri this project has been anticipated for a number of years and the community could not be more excited. For their commitment to this renovation, Picerno Giordano Construction was given a “Making The Difference” Award by the Borough of Kenilworth. This playground is a place that is sure to be enjoyed by children of this community for years to come.
